A very special extended birthday treat today. Chantelle and I journeyed to Petersham Nursery in Richmond for a 'Talk and Tasting Demonstration' with Greg and Lucy Malouf.
They were presenting their latest book called Saraban, 'A Chef`s Journey Through Persia'. Lucy showed us slides and took us on an incredible journey through Iran, and Greg demonstrated some recipes from their new book which were able to savour.

This was followed by a Persian inspired lunch in the cafe, created by Skye Gyngell, the resident chef at Petersham Nursery Cafe, who has just received her first Michelin star, despite having only a dirt floor to her restaurant!
